Since starting Gasonic Instruments in 1985, Kae has continued to push the envelope and think outside of the box when it comes to providing gas monitoring, calibration, indoor air quality, and light solutions. Now over 30-years later, and the Gasonic group of companies has 5 subsidiary businesses, each to meet a different need for our clients. The golden thread amongst all of our products and services: Innovative Solutions For a Greener Tomorrow. We pride ourselves in helping our customers to save energy, save money, and provide clean and safe air to their patrons. The newest subsidiary business is EnviroLight Retrofit & Recycling, where we replace old parkade lights with LEDs, thus reducing energy consumption. We can then recycle the old lightbulbs so we avoid mercury being leached into the soil in landfills. Kae is indeed a champion of the environment. As such, he has created several educational and entertaining presentations and workshops. He loves to speak with everyone from corporate executives, condo boards, and even children. Dana Valaydon

Director of Operations

Our customers often reach out to Dana first because she’s prompt, pleasant, and gets to the point. Dana is a whiz when it comes to prices, quotes, service, and start-up. Dana moved to Calgary from the Island of Mauritius to find opportunity. She has now been with Gasonic for over 25-years. As the Director of Operations, Dana is committed to the Gasonic vision of delivering “Innovative Solutions For A Greener Tomorrow.” While working full-time, Dana earned her Bachelor of Commerce at the Haskayne School of Business. She brought new skills and strategies back to assist in growing the Gasonic group of companies, and provide even greater value to our customers. What many people don’t know, is that Dana understands the technical aspect of gas monitoring, even without having a technical degree. So, if you have a technical question, don’t hesitate to ask Dana! Dana is extremely organized, hard-working, and makes herself available to respond to our clients’ requests and questions. Our business depends on Dana! In her spare time, Dana loves traveling to Spanish-speaking countries and is learning to speak Spanish, to add to her fluency in French and Patois.

Andrew Beley

Customer Support Technician

Andrew joined Gasonic over 13-years ago, after completing his Electronic Engineering Technologist diploma at Devry. Andrew brings some of the very best technical expertise, on gas detectors, in the entire industry. For that reason, we are extremely fortunate to have Andrew on the Gasonic team, serving our valued customers and clients. Andrew is highly knowledgeable about all of the products and services we provide. He’s an efficient problem solver, and focused on results. We are excited about his latest project, where he is designing an intelligent alarm system to enhance the safety of parkades. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys online video gaming, and snowmobiling in the winter.
